Tony “Ninja” Rice (aka Chuck Jones) was a much loved legendary New
York City bike messenger who passed away September 9, 2020. He was
also a big part of the New York community volunteering, organizing
and participating in races and events. He was featured in many ad
campaigns and appeared in "Premium Rush." He appears in the opening
of every episode of the show "Throwdown with Bobby Flay."

had tricked out small trick bikes, wore hockey and football armor
and helmets, and worked the streets without fear. Hooking onto the
back fenders of fast-moving cars and anywhere on trucks to travel
fast and furious. They were incredible inspirational messengers.
