Modern messengers are very speedy. The C.P.R. boys held their annual
bicycle races on the Kingston Road and at the Woodbine track with the
following results:
One-mile championship
1. W. Montgomery;
2. F. Cameron;
3. W. Foster
Time: 2:16 2/5.
Two mile championship
1. J. Naughton;
2. W. Foster;
3. R. Stoskopf;
Time 4:38 3/5.
Six-mile road race
handicap
1. J. Henry, 3 min;
2. W. O’Connor, 2 ½ min.;
3. J Naughton, scratch;
4. C. Cameron, scratch;
5. W. Montgomery, scratch;
6. A. Stoskopf, 3 min;
7. J Farrell, 1 ½ min. ;
8. T. Montgomery;
9. F. Cameron, scratch.
The time prizes were as
follows:

2. W Foster, 18:10;
